Christmas is coming

Well Christmas preparations are standing in the way of keeping my blog up-to-date just now. I'm in Dublin at the moment visiting my mother. The two of us are celebrating our respective birthdays, mine being one of those significant ones that I would rather pretend wasn't happening. However, I've been steamed, roasted, ice showered and tropically rained on, pummelled and soothed to ease me into this new decade. I will have to hit the ground running tomorow when I get home to get on top of everything before the Christmas holidays begin.
