Before my departure I have been making floral monotypes some of which you will have seen on my blog so whilst I was away on my holidays I took every opportunity to take lots and lots of photographs of flowers as reference for flower head shapes and flower types both in the garden of our cottage and the gardens we visited namely Lismore Castle Gardens, Ballymaloe House Gardens and my mum's garden in Dublin. Her's a smattering of them.
